On display in the museum are many artifacts donated by family members of orphan train riders. Among them are priceless photographs of those children who made Louisiana their home by virtue of their railway voyage.

The only know living survivor of the Orphan Trains is Alice Kearns Bernard. Raised by Constance and Auguste Geoffery of Erath, LA, Mrs. Bernard has called Louisiana home since her arrival in 1919.
